We have visited Peter and Eileen Crichton and talked about various possible routes up Africa. Peter drove down the west of Africa to Cape Town recently and in September they are planning to drive up the east of Africa back home! Expedition Foods provided the meals that the expedition crew lived on for 3 months from Feb 08 to May 08 while travelling across Siberia. The Russians guides were wary to start with of eating out of a packet but were very soon converted - then we had to keep the meals locked away! |
